Itinerary

Day 1 – (Tuesday) Spain – Bogota

Reception at El Dorado airport and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and accommodation

Day 2 – (Wednesday) – Bogotá

Breakfast at the hotel. We will begin the day with a panoramic and pedestrian tour of the historic center of Bogota, exploring its streets adorned with colonial and republican style facades. We will visit the Banco de la República art museum, which houses the outstanding art collection of Colombian master Botero. We will continue our tour through the Plaza de Bolivar, admiring the San Carlos Palace, the Casa de Nariño, the Primada Cathedral, the National Capitol and the Liévano Palace. We will conclude the day with a visit to the Gold Museum, which exhibits an impressive collection of pre-Columbian gold and silverware. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3 – (Thursday) Bogotá

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the north of the city to explore the Sabana de Bogota, enjoying the unique rural and urban landscapes of the region. In Zipaquirá, we will visit the Salt Cathedral, a Catholic temple built in old salt mines. Afterwards, we will take a brief panoramic tour of Zipaquirá to appreciate its colonial and republican architecture.
Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 4 – (Friday) Bogota – Armenia or Pereira

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, we will meet in the lobby to transfer to the airport and take the flight to Armenia or Pereira. Upon arrival, we will be assisted at the airport El Eden or Matecaña and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day free for personal activities.

Día 5 – (sábado) Armenia o Pereira – Proceso del Café en hacienda

Desayuno en el hotel. Seremos trasladados a una hacienda cafetera para vivir una experiencia inmersiva en la naturaleza, explorando el paisaje cultural cafetero y participando en el proceso del café. Disfrutaremos de las tradiciones locales y los sentidos se deleitarán con el aroma, sabor y poder de los elementos naturales. Regreso al hotel y alojamiento.

Día 6 – (domingo) Aramenia o Pereira – Valle de Cocora y Salento

Desayuno en el hotel. Excursión al Valle del Cócora, situado en el departamento del Quindío. Durante el trayecto, disfrutaremos del hermoso paisaje. Al llegar al Valle de Cócora, iniciaremos una caminata por el bosque de niebla para apreciar la diversidad de fauna y flora. Luego, recorreremos el sendero de la bio-palma de cera más alta del mundo, realizando el ritual de la palma de cera del Quindío. Finalizaremos el día visitando la pintoresca población de Salento. Regreso al hotel y alojamiento.

Day 7 – ( Monday) Pereira – Medellín

Breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 07:30 a.m., we will meet you in the lobby to transfer you to the airport for your flight to Medellin. Upon arrival, we will be assisted at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Afternoon free for personal activities. It is suggested to take the night tour of Medellin and its fondas (optional).

Day 8 – (Tuesday) Medellín

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will begin a panoramic tour of the city, exploring the history of Medellín’s social transformation. We will learn about the infrastructure and public education that have contributed to make Medellin one of the most innovative cities in the world. We will visit downtown Medellín and the escalators of the Comuna 13.
Lodging.

Day 9 – (Wednesday) Medellín

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Marinilla and El Peñol, where we will visit the monolith with 724 steps. We will enjoy a typical lunch in Guatapé and explore its picturesque houses with skirting boards representative of the local culture.
Return to Medellín.

Day 10 – (Thursday) Medellín – Cartagena de Indias

Breakfast at the hotel. Early transfer to Jose Maria Cordoba airport to take the flight to Cartagena.

Day 11 – (Friday) Cartagena

Breakfast at the hotel. We will begin a panoramic tour of the neighborhoods of Bocagrande, Castillo Grande and Manga. We will visit the San Felipe Castle, an important construction of colonial military engineering. We will finish with a pedestrian walk through the walled sector, admiring its squares and streets. Return to the hotel.
Lodging.

Day 12 – (Saturday) Cartagena – Islas del Rosario – Isla San Pedro de Majagua

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, transfer to the dock to board a boat to the Rosario Islands National Natural Park. We will enjoy the bay of Cartagena and Boca Chica during the trip. Free time on the beach and typical lunch included. Return to Cartagena by boat.
Accommodation.

Day 13 – (Sunday) Cartagena – Spain

Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time transfer from the hotel to the Rafael Núñez airport to take the flight back to Spain.

Situation

It is located in the northwestern region of South America, bordered to the east by Venezuela and Brazil, to the south by Peru and Ecuador, and to the northwest by Panama.
