We will cross the border into Chile, making the famous “lake crossing”, a scenic route that combines catamaran sailing with vehicle sections and runs through landscapes with snow-capped volcanoes, crystal clear lakes and lush forests. We will reach the Chilean Lake District, famous for its German-style houses, lakes, volcanoes, mighty rivers and green pastures full of cattle. On clear days we will be able to see the snow-capped Osorno Volcano over Lake Llanquihue. We will continue to the extreme south of Chile to visit the famous Torres del Paine National Park, with the Grey Glacier and the famous Torres that give the park its name.
We will cross back into Argentina to El Calafate, the starting point for excursions to Los Glaciares National Park and the Perito Moreno Glacier. Finally we will fly to Ushuaia to visit the Tierra del Fuego National Park and visit the city at the end of the world.

Itinerary
Day 1 Spain – Buenos Aires
Departure by scheduled flight to Buenos Aires. Overnight on board.
Day 2 Buenos Aires
Arrival at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to rest from the international flight or start exploring the city on our own. Lodging.
Day 3 Buenos Aires. City tour
After breakfast, we will leave the hotel to start a half-day guided tour of the city. A walk that will allow us to discover all the magic of Buenos Aires. The tour includes the neighborhoods of Recoleta and Palermo, with the beauty of its parks and buildings, the Colon Theater, one of the five most important opera houses in the world, the Plaza de Mayo, the Cathedral, the typical Avenida de Mayo, the Congress and many other buildings and palaces of special architectural, historical and cultural value. Old San Telmo, residence of the Buenos Aires aristocracy until the end of the 19th century, Caminito Street in La Boca, colorful neighborhood of Italian immigrants and the recently recycled area of Puerto Madero will put an end to this complete tour of the Argentine capital. Return to the hotel, free afternoon and overnight.
Day 4 Buenos Aires – Bariloche
Breakfast and private transfer to the airport to take the flight to Bariloche, the so-called “Switzerland of Argentina”. Arrival in Bariloche and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will leave the hotel to drive the 65 km of the well-known Circuito Chico and visit the Panoramic Point, from where we will have a privileged view of the Llao Llao peninsula and the lake systems that surround it. We will border Nahuel Huapi Lake and visit Colonia Suiza, Llao Llao Llao Hotel, Puerto Pañuelo and San Pedro Peninsula. Return to Bariloche and overnight.
Day 5 Bariloche. Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest.
After breakfast we will set sail from Bariloche to sail to Victoria Island, the largest island of Lake Nahuel Huapi, with an area of 3,700 hectares. Here it is possible to go on excursions and hikes, touring the conifer nursery and a series of natural viewpoints, as well as visiting its various lagoons, its four ports and enjoying the presence of the only colony of freshwater and imperial cormorants, pheasants, peacocks, woodpeckers and hummingbirds. Then we will embark again to head to Puerto Quetrihue, on the peninsula of the same name, where you can visit the world famous Arrayanes Forest. It is a unique tree formation in the world with centenary specimens. Rest of the afternoon to stroll through the streets of Bariloche and enjoy its cafes, chocolate and handicraft stores.

Day 6 Bariloche (lake crossing excursion) – Peulla – Puerto Montt (Chile)
Today we will make the spectacular lake crossing excursion to travel to Chile through one of the most beautiful areas of Patagonia. We will board the catamaran to sail for an hour in the Blest Arm and visit the Cántaros Waterfall, here we will have time for lunch (optional), in the warm restaurant of Hostería Blest with an incomparable view of the lake. After lunch departure by bus to Puerto Alegre, bordering the Frias River for 3 km. Here we will embark again to navigate the lake for 15 minutes, having from there the first view of Cerro Tronador. We will arrive at Puerto Frias where we will pass the Argentinean customs. Once the departure formalities are completed, we will continue by bus through the lush vegetation of the Andes Mountains, crossing the border through the “Paso Vicente Perez Rosales” to travel 29 km. to Peulla. At the Chilean customs, we will do the paperwork to enter the country. We will continue our trip by catamaran crossing the waters of Lake Todos los Santos, admiring the Puntiagudo Hill and the imposing Osorno Volcano. In the afternoon we will arrive at Petrohué where we will disembark and take the bus that will take us along the Llanquihue Lake to Puerto Montt. On the way we will see the Petrohué Falls. Lodging.
Day 7 Puerto Montt – Puerto Natales
Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Puerto Natales. Located 247 kilometers northwest of Punta Arenas and by the sea, Puerto Natales is a picturesque city of 15,000 inhabitants, tourist and livestock center of the region. Puerto Natales is the gateway to beautiful natural landscapes such as Torres del Paine National Park, the Milodon Cave Natural Monument and Los Glaciares National Park. Free time and lodging.
Day 8 Puerto Natales. Excursion to Torres del Paine National Park
We will have breakfast and leave early to head to Torres del Paine National Park for a full day excursion in the heart of the park.
We will observe the Nordenskjold and Pehoé lakes, accompanied by groups of guanacos and rheas. We will take a 10-minute walk to get a close-up view of the beautiful Salto Grande waterfall. Then we will continue in front of the imposing Paine horns towards the Grey Lake area. At the inn of the same name we will stop for lunch. During the afternoon, the excursion will continue to the Grey glacier sector, where we will make a stop of approximately 1 hour and a half and a beautiful walk through lenga forests to see the imposing icebergs of the Grey glacier. In the afternoon we will return to Puerto Natales. Lodging.
Day 9 Puerto Natales – Calafate (Argentina)
Breakfast and transfer to the bus terminal to take the regular bus to Calafate (approx. 5 hours). Arrival in Calafate, reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure and accommodation.
Day 10 Calafate. Perito Moreno Glacier Excursion
Breakfast at the hotel and then we will be picked up to start today’s full day excursion. We will visit Los Glaciares National Park and the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier, which with its millenary ice offers a spectacle of incomparable beauty. With some luck we will be able to observe spectacular landslides. Leaving from El Calafate, we will travel 80 km of gravel road until we reach the area of footbridges (wooden walkways and balconies) from where we will enjoy various panoramic views of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Note: It is possible to do the mini trekking on the Perito Moreno glacier for those who wish to do it between October and March.
Day 11 Calafate
Today we will have a free day to make different possible excursions from Calafate. We recommend the Ríos de Hielo excursion to visit other glaciers.

Day 12 Calafate – Ushuaia
Breakfast and at the agreed time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Ushuaia. Arrival in Ushuaia, reception and transfer to the hotel. Lodging.
Day 13 Ushuaia. Excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park
Breakfast. Today we will make a half-day visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, only 11 km from the city. We will be able to appreciate within its limits lakes, lagoons and rivers, and its exit towards the Beagle Channel, a characteristic that differentiates it from other national parks. From the port, along Maipú Avenue towards the southwest along the national route, we will go through the outskirts of the city until we reach the slope of Mount Susana, witness of the work of the convicts of the old prison, where the station of the Fuegian Southern Railroad is located.
Then we continue along the valley of the Pipo River until the detour to enter Ensenada Bay, where we will be able to contemplate the Redonda and Estorbo Islands and on the other coast of the Beagle Channel the Nevados de la Cadena Sampaio Mountains (Chile). On the way back, through a narrow road that shows us the diverse species of the Fuegian flora, we will arrive to Roca Lake and we will make a walk bordering the lake and the Lapataia River, natural drainage of the same one. From this point the landscape is dominated by the Cerro Condor, through whose peak passes the border with the Republic of Chile. We will go to the other end of the Park, where the route ends in Lapataia Bay, on this route we will observe the Green Lagoon and the Black Lagoon, an imposing peat bog in formation. Finally we will go through the beaver dam, whose path will lead us to Lapataia Bay. Return to Ushuaia and free afternoon. Lodging.
Day 14 Ushuaia. Beagle Channel Navigation
We will set sail from the tourist pier towards the southeast, navigating the waters of Ushuaia Bay and with the backdrop of the capital of Tierra del Fuego behind us. Our eastbound navigation through the Beagle Channel takes us to the area of the Les Eclaireurs Archipelago. In this archipelago is the Isla de los Lobos. Here we will observe the two species of sea lions characteristic of the channel (one and two hairs). Always towards the east we will then sail between the coasts of Puerto Almanza (Argentina) and Puerto Williams (Chile) to later enter the Mackinlay Passage area and head directly to Martillo Island where the elegant Magellanic penguins await us.
The excursion continues now to the area of Estancia Harberton where we will enjoy an organized tour of its historical facilities and after that, we will embark again to start our navigation back to Ushuaia through the winding Guarani Pass, at the end of this we will find a small town of Puerto Almanza, whose few inhabitants are dedicated to crab fishing and salmon farming. Return to Ushuaia and lodging.
Day 15 Ushuaia – Buenos Aires
Breakfast and at the agreed time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival at the airport in Buenos Aires. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure
Day 16 Buenos Aires – Spain
Breakfast and at the agreed time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Spain.
