Itinerary

Day 1 – Spain – Zagreb (Croatia)

Departure by scheduled flight to Zagreb. Arrival, reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, meeting of the guide with the group to get to know each other and clarify the details of the route.
Accommodation.

Day 2 – Zagreb – Plitvice National Park

Today we will start our day early, at 05:00, to begin a two-hour drive to Plitvice National Park. Although getting up early may seem like a difficult task during the vacations, the reward will be to be the first to enter the park, avoiding the tourist crowds and allowing us to explore it with maximum tranquility.
During the morning, we will have the opportunity to marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the park: its waterfalls, lakes and lush vegetation. At midday, at the peak of the day, we will take a break to head to our accommodation in Plitvice and enjoy a delicious local lunch. After a short rest and nap, we will move to a beautiful place frequented by locals, close to the park. We will have free time to cool off with a swim in the natural pools and small waterfalls.

Hike: 16 km / elevation gain +450 m,- 450 m / approx. 5-6 hours

Day 3 – Plitvice – Velebit – Baska (Krk)

We will head towards the impressive Velebit mountain range in the Dinaric Alps, a region of special natural value with significant forests and fascinating rock formations, including peaks up to 1700 meters in altitude. We will take an exciting semi-circular hike along wild trails that will provide spectacular views of the Adriatic and its islands.
Afterwards, we will transfer briefly to the coast, where a private speedboat will be waiting for us. We will spend the next three hours exploring the lost islands of the northern Adriatic. Our experienced local captain knows better than anyone where the most turquoise waters of the islands of Goli otok and Prvic are. We will have free time to enjoy the beaches. After our motorboat experience, we will meet our guide, who will take us to our accommodation for the next two nights in the lively seaside town of Baska.

Hike: 12 km / elevation gain +500 m,- 500 m / approx. 4-5 hours

Day 4 – Island of Krk

We will start our hike directly from the hotel in Baska. The route will take us through the impressive and rocky landscape of southern Krk, rewarding us with extraordinary views of the Velebit mountain range and islands. We will reward ourselves with a refreshing swim in the blue waters of the Adriatic at the end of our hike.

Since this route has little shade, those who are more sensitive to the sun may choose to shorten it by returning by local boat to Baska. There, we will meet for a delicious local lunch and rest. In the afternoon, we will have free time to explore on our own or with the group, either wandering the streets or immersing ourselves in the authenticity of a local “konaba”.

Hike: 13 km / elevation gain +350 m,- 350 m / approx. 4-5 hours

Day 5 – Krk – Cres Island – Losinj

For those who wish to get up early, we recommend an early morning walk with the guide to enjoy the tranquility and spectacular views of the islands of Goli Otok and Prvic with the first light of day. The experience is sure to be rewarding. After a leisurely breakfast, we will head by ferry to the beautiful island of Cres, noticing the change of scenery with its lush vegetation and the enchanting contrast of the scent of pine and sea.
Our route will take us to the ancient village of Lubenice, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch and begin an approximately one-hour walk to the stunning beach of Lubenice. The descent to the beach will be through a beautiful path surrounded by vegetation, culminating with a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters of Lubenice.

Afterwards, we will embark on a private boat that will take us along the coast, stopping at the most beautiful beaches to enjoy the turquoise sea. The captain will drop us off at a terrace in the town of Cres, where we will be picked up by the guide with the van. We will continue the day with a short stop for a refreshing beer before transferring for an hour to the picturesque seaside village of Veli Losinj, on the island of Losinj, where we will spend the next two nights. Since the islands of Cres and Losinj are connected by a bridge, there will be no need to take a ferry.

Hike: 8 km / elevation gain +160 m,- 500 m / approx. 3-4 hours

Day 6 – Losinj

In the morning, we will take a leisurely walk from our hotel exploring the trails of eastern Losinj, enjoying the beautiful coastal and wooded scenery, as well as lovely beaches. After lunch and some rest time in Veli Losinj, in the afternoon, those who wish can join the guide to explore the west coast trails, ending in Mali Losinj. For those who prefer free time, you can join the group in the evening in the town.

Hike: 12 km / elevation gain +100 m, -200 m / approx. 4 hours

Day 7 – Losinj (Osornica) – Zagreb

After a short transfer of 30 minutes, we will face our last challenge: the Osornica mountain. We will gradually ascend the 500 meters of elevation gain until we reach the highest peak of Losinj, from where we will enjoy breathtaking views of the coast of Cres and Losinj, as well as the islands. This will be our farewell to the beautiful Croatian coast.
After descending, we will stop in the picturesque village of Osor for lunch and, weather permitting, enjoy a last swim in the Adriatic. Afterwards, a drive to Zagreb awaits. Upon arrival in Zagreb, we will stay in the same hotel as at the beginning of the trip and have the afternoon and evening free to explore the center and bid farewell to the trip with a toast on one of its charming terraces.
