Itinerary

Day 1 Spain – Iguazu

Departure by scheduled flight to Iguazú. Overnight on board.

Day 2 Iguazú

Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the afternoon free. Accommodation. Note: depending on the air combination, it is sometimes necessary to change airports in Buenos Aires.

Day 3 Iguazu. Excursion to the Argentinean side of the falls

Breakfast. Today we will have a day of spectacular nature as we will visit the Iguazu Falls belonging to the Argentine side, in the Iguazu National Park. Several areas make up this wonderful refuge of nature and it is from there where you can contemplate the waterfalls of the Iguazu River. The 276 waterfalls can be admired from the Lower Circuit, or from the Upper Circuit, where we can admire the majesty of the most famous waterfall “La Garganta del Diablo” (The Devil’s Throat). Optionally, it is possible to get even closer to the falls by hiring the Gran Aventura excursion, which takes us in powerful boats into the lower canyon of the Iguazú River and, bordering the island, ascends to the base of the Tres Mosqueteros falls, from where it is possible to see both the Brazilian and the Argentinean falls. The tour ends in open four-wheel drive vehicles to go into the jungle. Return to the hotel. Lodging.

Day 4 Iguazu. Excursion to the Brazilian side of the falls

Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit the falls on the Brazilian side, where we can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view. Return to the hotel. Optionally in the afternoon we can go into the jungle and live an experience of eco-tourism and adventure with the “Iguazu Forest” excursion. Lodging.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Trelew. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel in Puerto Madryn. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.

Day 6 Puerto Madryn. Peninsula Valdes Excursion

Breakfast. Today we will enjoy a spectacular day with a full day excursion to the Valdes Peninsula from where we will sail to watch southern right whales with fully equipped boats. Undoubtedly, the most sublime moment is when the whales jump out of the water and fall back into the sea with their thirty tons, generating a wave that makes the skin of those who contemplate them stand on end. Return to Puerto Madryn. Free time. Accommodation.

Day 7 Puerto Madryn. Excursion to Pingüinera de El Pedral.

Breakfast. Today we will make an excursion to El Pedral Penguin Colony, where we will live an authentic experience with the Magellanic Penguins. We will also visit the Punta Ninfas lighthouse, discover the Patagonian gastronomy and admire the great extensions of the Patagonian landscape over the sea. Return to Puerto Madryn. Free time. Accommodation.

We will enter the Patagonian landscape of forests, lakes and mountains, observe the Beavers dams, the Pipo River waterfall and the Black Lagoon. On the way back, we will stop at La Pataia viewpoint, Lake Acigami and Ensenada Bay. In the afternoon we will sail through the Beagle Channel towards Isla de los Lobos and Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, better known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World. Return to the hotel. Free time. Accommodation.

Day 10 Ushuaia. Excursion to Fagnano and Escondido Lakes.

Day 13 El Calafate. Free day

Breakfast. Today we will enjoy the day at leisure for activities on our own. We recommend a sailing excursion to the Upsala and O’nelli Glaciers, or a visit to El Chaltén, another charming town from where we can enjoy the beautiful views of the Fitz Roy and Torre mountains. Accommodation.

"It has been an incredible trip, everything was very well organized, we had a minimal mishap in calafate but that the collaborator there arranged quickly and efficiently, a charming girl, the only negative point that we think is important to mention is the hotel in iguazú, hotel cataratas: the hotel is neglected, dirty rooms (stained sheets, dirty bathroom, etc), the buffet food was not edible and also expensive, we asked if please the last day that we left at 6 am could leave us something for breakfast, they said yes and left us nothing (that if it can not be then perfect and we will manage but they tell you that if and then not...) and when we ask at reception little more or answer us.... Thanks for everything!"

“¡Hola!

"Hello! Congratulations for all the services contracted and now already enjoyed! Regarding the contracted hotels, all of them were to my liking. However, I found the Waldorf Hotel in Buenos Aires a bit weak to begin with (the rooms are rather small and some of them are outdated), but the hotel's location in the city is good and the staff that attended me (Marcelo, the “bellboy”; and Sergio, the receptionist) made me appreciate the hotel much more, thanks to their friendly, kind, professional and very hospitable and efficient treatment. A simply correct 3 star hotel with a staff that enhances the quality and category of the hotel."
