Itinerary

Day 1 – Flight to Denpasar (Bali)

Departure in regular flight with stopovers with destination Denpasar, main airport of the island of Bali.
Overnight on board

Day 2 – Denpasar – Jimbaran

Arrival to Bali. Immigration formalities and transfer to Jimbaran, a village of fishermen where to see the local life. Its beach is one of the best of Bali, being famous by its restaurants of fresh fish. Rest of the day free.
Lodging.

Day 3 – Jimbaran. Sunset by boat in Uluwatu and Bukit Peninsula.

Breakfast. In the morning we will have free time to rest and recover from the trip.

n the afternoon we will have the opportunity to enjoy an authentic and unusual experience. We will cross the bay of Jimbaran in jukung (traditional boat of fishermen). We will sail until Uluwatu from where we will be able to enjoy the best sunset of Bali. We will approach also to the peninsula of Bukit and its magnificent cliffs. An incredible moment that we will remember forever.
Duration of the excursion 2 hours (from 16:00 to 18:00).

Day 4 – Jimbaran. Nusa Penida

Today we will enjoy the first contact with the seabed of Indonesia! Magnificent day of snorkeling in Nusa Penida.
After breakfast we will go to the port to board a speedboat that will take us to Nusa Penida. The snorkeling day will focus on: Manta Point, Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay, Toya Pakeh Wall. Or if we prefer we can combine visits around the island with snorkeling, in that case the route would be as follows: Kelingking Clift, Broken Beach, Angel Billabong, Crystal Bay (1 point snorkeling).
Shared excursion with English speaking guide.
After the excursion we will return to Bali and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5 – Jimbaran. Visit to Tanah Lot, Bedugul, Jatiluwih – Ubud

After breakfast we will visit the temple of Tanah Lot, probably the most charismatic of the whole island, due to its natural location on top of a rock excavated by the force of the tides. We will then depart for the village of Bedugul, located in a jungle region of the island. Due to the cooler climate of this part of the island, the Balinese take advantage of Bedugul to plant vegetables and cereals, giving a very special color to the market of this village that we will visit in the morning. Later we will go to the botanical garden and the Ulun Danau Bratan temple, located on the shore of Lake Bratan. We will have lunch in the village of Pacung and then go to the rural area of Jatiluwih (in Balinese means truly wonderful) where we will see one of the best landscapes of the whole island, with infinite stepped rice fields. Transfer to Ubud, the geographical and cultural center of the island.

Day 6 – Ubud. Visit to Sebatu, Kintamani and Besakih.

Breakfast. Departure to the village of Sebatu, the road runs through magnificent rice fields located in terraced terraces. Arriving in Sebatu we will visit the temple of the sacred fountain, a place of purification for the Balinese. We will pass through coffee and orange plantations before arriving at Kintamani, a mountain village located at 1,400 meters above sea level. From this village we will have a spectacular view of the still active volcano Batur (1,717 meters) and Lake Batur.
Later, we will visit Besakih the most important temple of Bali constructed in the slope of the Mount Agung (3,142 meters), the highest mountain of the island. In the way of return we will stop in Goa Gajah (the cave of the elephant) whose temple located in the interior of the cave is one of the most visited and venerated of Bali. After it return Ubud.

Day 7 – Ubud

Breakfast. Free day in Ubud to rest or do optional activities.
Lodging.

Day 8 – Ubud. Excursion to Batur by bicycle

After breakfast we will go by car to Kintamani where we will see the Volcano and Lake Batur. From this point we will descend to the town of Ubud through villages, rice fields and very little visited places of the island of Bali. Arrival to Ubud and lunch buffet. Transfer to our hotel.

Day 9 – Ubud. Visit to Gunung Kawi, Tirta Empul, Pengipularan.

After breakfast we will leave for Gunung Kawi. Pura Gunung Kawi is a public temple dedicated to the god of water, where members of the royal family are buried. Nestled among rice paddies and palm trees, the temple is surrounded by a striking green landscape. Next, we will visit the temple of the sacred waters of Bali, Tirta Empul, which is constructed on a spring of thermal waters. Its water is considered as blessed and the pilgrims come to purify themselves. After the offerings they submerge in the cold waters of the temple that has curative powers. Our next stop will be the village of Penglipuran, a traditional Balinese village with a lot of charm. Before returning to Ubud we will visit the waterfalls of Tegenungang, where we can refresh and relax before ending the day of visits.

Day 10 – Ubud – Gili Trawangan

Breakfast, transfer to the port for a speedboat ride to Gili Trawangan, the largest and liveliest island of the Gili Islands archipelago, located off the coast of Lombok. Known for its white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and vibrant nightlife, it is a popular destination for those looking to relax during the day and party at night. There are no motorized vehicles on the island; the means of transportation are bicycles and horse-drawn carriages, giving it a tranquil and unique atmosphere. It is also famous for diving and snorkeling, with reefs teeming with marine life, including sea turtles.
Upon arrival, transfer at your own expense from the port to the hotel.

Days 11 and 12 – Gili Trawangan

Breakfast. Free days to enjoy the beach and optional excursions.

Day 13 – Gili Trawangan – Lombok. Flight to Spain (via Denpasar)

Breakfast. At the agreed hour transfer to the airport of Lombok to take the flight of return to Bali, and later connection of return to Spain. Overnight on board.

Practical information

Situation

Bali is one of the many islands that make up Indonesia and is located 8 degrees south of the equator, between the island of Java to the west and Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, Sumba and Timor to the east.

Recommended time of year

Although it can be visited all year round, the best time to visit is between May and October (dry season) due to the absence of rain.

Weather

Tropical, hot and humid all year round with an average temperature of 26º.
In addition, there is a dry season (May to October) and a rainy season (November to April).

Documentation

Passport with at least six months of validity.

Languages

The Balinese, own language of the island. In addition, the Balinese also speak Indonesian and are fluent in English.

Currency

The national currency is the Indonesian Rupiah. Dollars and Euros are also accepted everywhere, as well as credit cards, except at street stalls.

What to bring

It is advisable to wear light cotton clothing, comfortable shoes, sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen) and some light rain gear.
