Spanish-speaking city tour in the morning to get to know the city and its port. We will visit Fremantle, located 30 minutes from downtown, known for the prison built in 1850 and used as a jail for 140 years. You can explore its craft market, historic buildings, the Round House, the floating Maritime Museum (where you can enter a submarine and tour the gallery of shipwrecks). Then we will tour the city with its King Park (we recommend going up to the Eliza lookout to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city and the Swan River). In the Perth Mint, one of the oldest in the world, you can see how gold coins are made and know the value of its weight in gold, as well as observe an extensive collection of gold jewelry. Bell Tower is home to one of the largest musical instruments in the world, a tower 82.5 m high that houses 12 bells. From the top of the tower there is another spectacular panoramic view of Perth. At 20′ from the center, are the beautiful beaches of Sunset Coast and coastal neighborhoods of Cottesloe, City Beach, Floreat and Scarborough (surfing beach) and Hillary’s Boat Harbour. We will be able to appreciate the shores of the Indian Ocean.

Transfer to the airport and departure flight to Monkey Mia.<\/span>
Monkey Mia is an idyllic place of natural beauty on the coast of Western Australia on the Indian Ocean, 900 km north of Perth that enjoys a temperate climate all year round. It is one of the most privileged places in the world to see and interact with dolphins in their natural environment. Free afternoon. We can (optionally) take a camel ride on the beach, rent sea kayaks or enjoy the sunset in this magnificent place. <\/span><\/p>\nDay 5 – Monkey Mia<\/span><\/h3>\n
In the morning we will be at Monkey Mia beach to interact with the bottlenose dolphins, which are part of a group of 300 dolphins that live in the bay.<\/span>
We will take a cruise in Monkey Mia Bay (2h) during which we will be able to observe more dolphins and listen to their sounds while marine biologists give us explanations of the behavior of these mammals. Often we will also see sharks, turtles, rays, etc. This cruise includes a visit to the restricted area where dudongs can be seen. The 10,000 dugongs in Shark Bay represent 10% of the world’s population of these marine animals. <\/span><\/p>\nDay 6 – Monkey Mia<\/span><\/h3>\n
Today we will have the day free for optional excursions. We recommend a tour to the red lands of the Australian outback. <\/span><\/p>\nDay 7 – Monkey Mia – Perth<\/span><\/h3>\n

At the airport, pick up a rental car and drive to the hotel. We will have a few days of rental car to tour the Pinnacles Desert and Margaret River. <\/span><\/p>\nDay 8 – Perth. Pinnacles Desert <\/span><\/h3>\n
Drive to the Pinnacles Desert 200 kms north of Perth along the Indian Ocean Drive to the Nambung National Park, for a chance to see this desert with its limestone pinnacles rising up to 5 m high, formed 25,000 years ago when the sea receded and left deposits of marine shells. From the parking lot you walk 100m to the “desert of pinnacles”. Possibility to visit Cervantes, a lobster fishing village (the season is from November to June) and also to visit the Thetis lake with its stromalites, the oldest living form in the world of about 3,000 years old, which can be seen walking 1.2 km around the lake. <\/span><\/p>\nDay 9 – Perth – Margaret River<\/span><\/h3>\n
Continuation of the journey south for 3h30 until almost reaching Margaret River, a wine region in the south of Western Australia with beautiful beaches such as Prevelly. On the way we recommend visiting Busselton and its wooden pier and contemplate the beautiful panoramic views or visit the underwater observatory. <\/span><\/p>\nDays 10 and 11 – Margaret River<\/span><\/h3>\n

Return to Perth, returning the car at the airport. Departure by scheduled flight to Melbourne.

We will take a guided tour of the city with an English speaking guide. We will enjoy the sights of Bourke Street Mall and Federation Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne Town Hall, Law Courts, Flagstaff Gardens, the Victoria Market, Melbourne University and Royal Exhibition Building. If allowed that day, we will visit St Patrick’s Cathedral. In Albert Park we will know its importance as a place where the Formula 1 championship takes place every year. We will enjoy St Kilda, its waterfront and panoramic views. Back in the center, the MCG -sports complex where the Tennis Open is held- and the Yarra waterfront area, Southbank and finish the tour in front of the Melbourne Sky Deck viewpoint. Free time for lunch before the afternoon tour. <\/span><\/p>\n
In a small group we will travel southeast of the city, to the wildlife conservation area. Visit Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park where we can see endangered species, including kangaroos, koalas, multicolored birds and reptiles. Phillip Island is the site of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing championship and is famous for the Little blue penguins. Arriving on the island, we will visit Woolamai, a surf and wave beach. Then we will go to a natural lookout point overlooking Bass Strait and Nobbies, where sea lions can be seen. During the daylight saving months, we will go to Cowes with free time for dinner. In the winter months, we will have time to dine at the Penguin Parade Visitor Centre or wait for you to arrive back in Melbourne. We will position ourselves on the Penguin Plus platform in front of the beach to watch the penguins emerge from the water and return to their nests. <\/p>\nDay 14 – Melbourne<\/span><\/h3>\n

We recommend taking the tour to the famous Great Ocean Road and see the 12 apostles, giant monoliths on the beach, sculpted by the action of the sea, wind and rain over millions of years.<\/span><\/p>\nDay 15 – Melbourne – Sydney<\/span><\/h3>\n

Today we include the 48h Hop on Hop off Bus to explore the downtown neighborhoods at your leisure, Kings Cross, Bondi Beach or walk through the historic Rocks district, the downtown and pedestrian Pitt, the beautiful Darling Harbour, and the large shopping centers, as well as the Botanical Gardens and the Opera House waterfront.<\/span>
In the evening we will take a cruise on the Sydney Harbour aboard the Captain Cook Sydney 2000, to enjoy fantastic night views of the city. On board we will enjoy an a la carte dinner and live music (Fridays and Saturdays only). <\/span><\/p>\nDay 16 – Sydney<\/span><\/h3>\n

In the afternoon we will proceed to the viewpoints at Govetts Leap with views of the waterfalls that drop 180 meters to the base of the cliff. Stop briefly for a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice at the lovely Blue Mountains Botanic Garden (Mt Tomah) with views of Sydney on the return journey via Bells Line of Road, fruit growing area. Today we will take a cruise excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. We will depart on a boat from Hamilton Island Marina and arrive at Reefworld, one of the largest floating platforms in Australia where we will stay for about 3.5 hours. Lunch, underwater observatory and snorkeling are included. Here we can go scuba diving (optional) or take a helicopter flight (optional) to see the Great Barrier Reef and the famous “heart of coral” from the air.
